Hi, I'm Rom.

Rom Web Studio is a one-person web design studio founded and run by Rom Waisbort.

I started Rom Web Studio after noticing how many small businesses were stuck with outdated websites that clearly weren’t working for them anymore — and then learning just how expensive a real, custom site becomes once you skip the templates and go the traditional agency route. I’d studied computer science and multimedia design in high school, and spent the past six months building a site for Ocean, a business-advisory firm for owners and CEOs in Israel. But it took volunteering at Cair Paravel Farmstead to show me how much a good website actually matters to a small business — not just how to build one.

Working the farm and talking with Madi, I kept hearing about things the team cared about but never had the bandwidth for — their website being a big one. That’s what made it click. Once I understood their mission and the workload that kept the website at the bottom of the list for years, I built them a full new site — booking, an online farm store, an admin dashboard to run it all — in about a week. It took a real weight off their shoulders. I care about building websites that genuinely help the people who own them, not just something that looks good in a portfolio.
