Farm Website Design

In short

For farm stays, farm stores, u-pick farms and farms that host tours or events. You get one website for stay bookings, tour reservations, store orders and payments, with one dashboard you run yourself from your phone. You get a free written quote with scope and timeline before any work starts, and you own the finished site.

For farm stays, farm stores, and agritourism.

A farm is rarely just one business. There might be a cabin or farm stay, a farm store, weekend tours, u-pick days, or a few events a year — and each one tends to live in a different place, with its own calendar and its own inbox. Visitors want to picture the land and see what’s fresh this week. You want your evenings back. I build agritourism and farm stay websites that bring all of it together, so the site does the answering and booking while you do the farming.

One website for everything your farm does

Instead of juggling separate tools, visitors find every way to spend time or money with you in one spot:

  • Farm stay and cabin bookings with live availability
  • Tour, u-pick, and class reservations with time slots
  • A farm store with online ordering and pickup
  • Events like harvest dinners, workshops, and open days
  • One checkout and one admin dashboard for all of it

What farm owners actually need

  • Secure deposits and payments taken online
  • Confirmation and reminder emails that go out on their own
  • Inventory you update yourself, including seasonal and sold-out items
  • Farm stay calendars that stay in sync with Airbnb
  • A fast, mobile-friendly site for visitors checking directions on the road

Simple to run from the farm

You get a private dashboard made for a busy day, not a manual. Block a date when family is visiting. Add this week’s eggs or jam. Mark the strawberries sold out the moment the last flat goes. Open it in the morning and see today’s bookings and orders at a glance. It all works from your phone, and you never touch a line of code.

A showcase build for a real farmstead

For Cair Paravel Farmstead, I built a demo / showcase site that runs the whole operation — overnight guests, farm visits, and store orders — from a single dashboard.

What I built

  • Four separate farm stays managed on one calendar
  • Farm tour reservations
  • A farm store with online ordering and an inventory dashboard
  • Airbnb calendar sync every hour
  • Automatic guest emails for bookings and reminders

See the demo site → Demo only: no real bookings or payments are taken.

Good fit for

  • Farm stays and agritourism
  • U-pick farms and pumpkin patches
  • Farm stores and roadside stands
  • Small farms selling direct
  • Guest ranches
  • Farms that host events

What visitors look for on a farm website

Most people land on a farm website with one quick question. The site should answer it in a tap:

  • Are you open today, and what are the hours?
  • What's in season or in the store this week?
  • Can I book a tour, a u-pick slot, or a night at the farm stay?
  • Can I order ahead and pick up at the farm?
  • How do I get there, and where do I park?

Each of these gets its own clear spot on the page, so visitors find the answer without calling or messaging you.

Built for the farm year

A farm's website changes with the seasons, and you can make those changes yourself from the dashboard:

  • Open strawberry or pumpkin u-pick dates when the crop is ready, and close them when it's done
  • Put winter products like preserves, meat, or wreaths in the store, and hide them in spring
  • Add a harvest dinner or workshop with a fixed number of seats
  • Change opening hours for the off-season
  • Block farm stay nights when family is visiting or the cabin needs work

What to have ready before we start

  • A list of everything you offer: stays, tours, u-pick, store products, events
  • Rough seasons and opening hours
  • Tour and u-pick times, and how many people each one can take
  • Store products with prices, and how people get them: pickup, market, delivery, or shipping
  • Photos of the farm, the animals, and the products (phone photos are fine)

Missing some of it is fine. We fill the gaps together during the project.

How quotes work and what changes the price is on the pricing page.
