Winery Website Design

In short

For wineries and vineyards that want visitors to book tastings and buy wine online. You get a site for tasting, tour and event reservations, wine club signups and wine orders, with an admin dashboard for wines, hours and menus. You set your tasting times and how many guests each slot takes, and guests pick a date, time and party size, so full slots never show up.

A winery website should do more than list your wines — it should bring people to the vineyard before they ever arrive. I design and build sites that make it easy to book tastings, join the wine club, browse events, and buy bottles online, all while telling your story with the kind of visual polish guests expect from a premium brand.

What winery owners actually need

  • Let visitors book tastings, tours, and private events online
  • Sell wine club memberships and subscription boxes
  • Showcase your vineyard story with high-end photography and video
  • List events, releases, and seasonal openings in one place
  • Take wine orders, shipping, and pickup requests securely
  • Handle trade, wholesale, and press inquiries with age-gated forms
  • Keep everything editable from one simple admin dashboard

Built for vineyards, tasting rooms, and wine clubs

Whether you run a small family vineyard, an urban tasting room, or a wine club shipping nationwide, the goal is the same: turn visitors into guests, members, and buyers. Every site is built around your wines, your story, and the way you sell — not a generic template.

Pricing depends on what you need — a polished tasting-room site, a full booking and wine club platform, event management, or e-commerce with shipping. I’ll give you an itemized quote before any work starts.

Designed around how people discover wine

Wine buyers want to feel something before they buy. I build sites that lead with your vineyard, your process, and your people — then make the next step obvious, whether that’s reserving a table, joining the club, or ordering a bottle.

What I build for wineries

  • Immersive visual storytelling that reflects your brand
  • Tasting room and tour reservations with availability checks
  • Wine club signup, member tiers, and subscription management
  • Event calendar for releases, pairings, and private tastings
  • Mobile-first design for visitors browsing on the road
  • Admin dashboard for wines, hours, menus, and content updates

How tasting reservations work

  1. 1You set the tasting times and how many guests each slot can take.
  2. 2A guest picks a date, a time, and their party size. Full slots don't show up.
  3. 3If you want, they leave a deposit or prepay the tasting fee by card.
  4. 4They get a confirmation email and a reminder the day before.
  5. 5You see the day's reservations in one list, and you can still take walk-ins whenever there's room.

Selling wine online, within the rules

Wine sales come with rules a regular online store doesn't have. I build the store around them:

  • An age check on the site and a 21+ confirmation at checkout
  • Pickup at the winery as the simple first option
  • Shipping only to the states you're licensed to ship to, which you confirm
  • Vintages, prices, and sold-out bottles you update yourself

If you already sell through a wine club or ecommerce platform, I'll look at how it connects and tell you honestly what's possible before we start.

What to have ready before we start

  • Your current wine list with descriptions and prices
  • Tasting options, hours, and how many guests you can host at once
  • Wine club tiers and benefits, if you have a club
  • Event and private booking details: spaces, capacity, and what you offer
  • Photos of the vineyard, tasting room, and bottles

Missing some of it is fine. We fill the gaps together during the project.

How quotes work and what changes the price is on the pricing page.
